Company of Wolves - LABS 2024

A paid advanced training and development opportunity for Scotland-based professional theatre-makers to work in-depth with Company of Wolves.

Labs is part of our ongoing research into the ancient Greek performance practice of interwoven theatre, dance, song, scene and story. During this Lab they'll introduce participants to their core training practices, moving from listeningand mindfulness into embodiment and play, integrating voice, movement and word. They will work together to explore the rich imaginative world of an ancient play.

Towards the end of the week they'll be joined by Dr Michael Carroll from the School of Classics at University of St Andrews, who will illuminate the sociocultural and artistic contexts of ancient Greek theatre practice.
