Alleyne Dance - Bonded
Saturday 29 June, 2 to 2.30pm and 4.30 to 5pm
Outside Langside Halls, Shawlands
Performed outdoors, but in and around a specially designed transparent structure, Bonded - by twin sisters Kristina and Sadé Alleyne - is about human dependency, especially that of siblings.
In this expertly choreographed abstract dance narrative, the award-winning duo will take their audience through a journey of inter- and in-dependence, and explore how time and external conditions can affect our connections with others.
ACCESS: Highly visual, with no text
Part of Tramway Beyond Walls, an ongoing strand of contemporary performance, visual art and creative participation which aims to engage with local audiences outside of the physical limits of our building
