A family friendly pop-up dance performance visiting the civic square outside Langside Halls , and The Hidden Gardens behind Tramway, as part of our Tramway Beyond Walls strand this autumn.

Expect a colourful, dynamic and visually vibrant dance duet exploring adolescence.  Premiered at Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, these performances of Pop! are completely free, and will leave you and your family energised.

Please note the Tramway Patio/The Hidden Gardens can be accessed by the Tramway main entrance at 25 Albert Drive, through the Café Bar rear doors at the back of the building; or through the rear entrance on Pollokshaws Road. Just look for the sign!

In the event of inclement weather the performances on Sunday 15 September will take place inside Tramway.

Pop! was originally an Imaginate commission for the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, supported by Platform Theatre, National Theatre of Scotland, Catherine Wheels, Creative Scotland and Kala Sangam. These performances are part of Tramway Beyond Walls, an ongoing strand of contemporary performance, visual art and creative participation which aims to engage with local audiences outside of the physical limits of our building
