Part of Tramway's Dance International Glasgow festival, 9 - 24 May

RADIOMATON is an immersive, participatory digital installation that invites participants to step into a photo-booth-like cubicle, where they are challenged to simultaneously repeat words from a live radio broadcast and mimic on-screen gestures, creating a fragmented, kaleidoscopic performance that offers a unique opportunity to explore how media shapes our bodies and minds.

Situated in Tramway's Street, this interactive free drop-in is designed for one participant at a time, in a 5-minute session.

Open from 3pm - 7pm from Wednesday 14 May to Saturday 17 May
except Friday 16 May (12pm to 4pm)

---------------------------------------------------------------

RADIOMATON delves into themes of truth construction, media contamination, fake news, and the body’s role in perceiving information. By placing participants in a state of cognitive overload, the installation uncovers the vulnerability and authenticity that emerge when social filters dissolve. Each 5-minute session is recorded and remixed into a collective video collage, creating a dynamic interplay of gestures and voices that questions the validity of the content we consume daily.

RADIOMATON  offers a unique opportunity to explore how media shapes our bodies and minds. Engaging, thought-provoking, and deeply human, this installation invites you to question your relationship with information and the world around you.
