Two performances at 3.30pm and 6pm
(Duration 55 mins)

Part of Gathered Together, a four-day festival of performance from some of the world’s leading inclusive dance organisations, presented by Indepen-dance.

Barrowland Ballet presents a work in progress of Wee Man, a highly physical performance by six men and six teenage boys exploring the rules of masculinity understood by the wee men and older men in the cast.

Wee Man is accompanied by a sound score by composer Luke Sutherland and text created with the poet Kevin P. Gilday.

The troop holds
Cradles brotherhood
In calloused hands
Absorbs transgression
Forgives everything but individuality
Dismisses the traumatic
With a pat on the back
