Karl Saks: State and design (7 - 8pm)
A solo piece performed through the hierarchy of the court room, where the executive power and the suspects are presented by archetypes, and the elements and artefacts are the evidence. In the witness stand sits a frightened artist.
Awarded Best Dance Performance 2017 by the Estonian Theatre Union.
Mart Kangro: Start. Based on a True Story (8.15 -9.05pm)
Since its premiere nearly 20 years ago, Start has become a milestone of Estonian contemporary dance. An eclectic abstract of the relentless ideas and dance quests important for the performer, it reflects the growing need to take critical distance from their religion; that is, dance theatre dogmas.
Despite its vintage, the questions posed in this performance seem surprisingly relevant and up to date.
Sigrid Savi: Imagine There’s A Fish (9.20 - 9.45pm)
There is a room, a fish, a decorative aquarium, and in the middle of all that – a posh seeker. Just there.
A debut performance by Sigrid Savi premiered as a part of Sõltumatu Tantsu Lava young choreographers series, 'PREMIERE'.
