Moving Out

Moving Out is a collaboration between Tramway and artist-led membership organisation The Workroom, to commission choreographers to expand their practice through creating or adapting work for public sites and outdoor contexts in the local area.

Through this collaboration we are aiming to enable choreographers to explore adapting their practice, including existing work, for outdoors and public spaces and create new opportunities to connect with the local area and communities around Tramway, namely Pollokshields and Govanhill.

Previous recipients have included Katie Armstrong and Kate E Deeming in 2019.

in 2020, Jenna Corker and Julia McGhee were awardees, as well as Three60, who presented World's Evolution at DIG.
