Internationally renowned theatre company Quarantine is looking for the final few workers to complete its epic portrait of Glasgow for a unique event at Tramway this Saturday 19 October.

12 Last Songs plays out over 12 hours at Tramway, from 12 noon to midnight. Part-performance, part-exhibition, 12 Last Songs invites members of the public to demonstrate what they do for work, live on stage.

The final workers needed are:

-    An estate agent who deals with beautiful properties.
-    An Urdu-speaking mechanic.
-    A postie, a refuse collector or a road sweeper – someone who works in the mornings.

Each person will be invited to work a shift on stage – usually an hour or two – and be paid for their time. You’ll be asked to respond to questions about your work, your life, and what you think.

No performance experience is required. Quarantine is not looking for actors.

Interested? Email Sarah Hunter sarah@qtine.com by midday on Wednesday 16 October to find out more.

Tickets are on sale for this unique, one-off event. Find out more
